The Garlic Harvest

This year, timeliness and the garden have not been words associated very closely together. Between work, the boys, and life in general, we've been busier than expected, and something had to give.

Finally got around to pulling the garlic up, about a month late. Hung it up in the barn or spread it out to dry.

You can see my very scientific method of binders twine and tree tags to help me keep track of the hardback garlics.

We'll probably will lose about 1/3 of it because it stayed in the ground so long. Oh well, live and learn. Next year, it's out by the Fourth of July.
