Say Hello to the Mallards!

A warm, hearty welcome to the newest addition to the menagerie. We acquired some Mallard ducks from a local friend who wanted to grab the old jumps out of the field. Not being horse people, we gladly let them remove them for us. And now, we have ducks.

We now have 3 (originally 4) Mallards that are running around and getting used to their new home. The fourth disappeared the day after they arrived, so she either got lost or a fox got her.

We're looking forward to their excellent slug control reputation and we'll continue seeing how they develop over the next year, as they are still babies.
